Her stint in Bigg Boss might have been over but there is no looking back for Payal Rohatgi as her film Dil Kabaddi has already hit the big screens. Payal is seen playing an oomphy fitness instructor in the film opposite Irrfan Khan.
Payal sounded pretty excited with the response of the film, “The response has been pretty positive. The character that I play is loud and that of a bimbette. I am glad that people have at least recognized my character. Whatever the critics are telling me, I am taking it pretty positively.”
Payal shares all of her scenes with Irrfan in the film. “I had a great experience working with Irrfan. We all know that he is a great actor. He is a great human being as well. I am not like the character that I play in real life. So he advised me to lose my inhibitions and not to think too much about my character. He helped me a lot.”
Payal had a few difficulties in shooting some scenes of the film. “The party scene in the film was very difficult for me. To be shameless in front of so many people and to actually believe in what my character was doing was difficult. I am not like that in real life.”
Payal wants to concentrate more on films now. “I am concentrating more on films now. I have not finalized any project yet. Also, if something interesting comes up on television, I will surely do it,” she said on an ending note.
