The premiere of ‘Hijack’, a film revolving around a hijacked plane, took place in Mumbai on September 4. The film made under the banner of Eros international in association with Aliya Motion Magic, is an action thriller revolving around a plane hijacking and an airport officer who lays his life on the line to save the hostages from hijackers.The story is about Vikram Madan (Shiney Ahuja) who is a ground maintenance officer at the Chandigarh airport. Vikram’s daughter is traveling with her teacher to a debate contest to Amritsar from Delhi. But a group of terrorists working for a man named Rasheed (KK Raina) hijack that flight. Rasheed is languishing in Indian jails and the terrorists seek his release as ransom. Esha Deol plays the air hostess in the plane.
Esha Deol revealed that she is excited about her role of an airhostess. Shiney Ahuja, the lead actor said that despite being action packed it is a family film.
